PHOTOGRAPHER
Taking pictures is my first love, and with my technical training and broad creative experience I’m in a position to tackle a wide range of subject matter, from products to places to people. An eye for detail and a perfectionist disposition mean I pay attention to the way things look and the accuracy of the visual messages a picture conveys.
INDUSTRY CONSULTANT
Having spent almost twenty years working with enthusiasts in the photographic market I have a pretty good understanding of what they want and how they like it delivered. Hearing the complaints and frustrations of the people who spend money on camera equipment, as well as their loves, has given me a useful insight.
JOURNALIST
I’ve been a journalist in the photographic industry since 1997, reporting on equipment as it is launched, interviewing the engineers and designers behind new cameras, lenses and accessories, and then going on to test the products once they come to market.
TUITION AND CLUBS
I offer a range of group and one-to-one classes and workshops for those who want to improve the quality of the images they create. From shooting skills to software and concepts, I can help everyone from absolute beginner level to the advanced photographer to tackle their technical and creative sticking points.
