About
the prints
The materials used to make prints sold through these
galleries depend on the size of the item. In general
terms prints with a shortest dimension of 17in or less
will be made on fine art fibre-based papers with light-fast
pigmented inks. Prints of a larger size are made on
traditional silver-based papers through a chemical process.
In either case images have an expected life of over
two hundred years when properly handled.
All prints come with a border to allow for matting and
framing. Although we dont offer a mounting or
framing service as standard, we can arrange these on
request. You should be aware though that postage becomes
cumbersome and expensive when prints have to be kept
flat and glass protected. Additional insurance will
need to be arranged.
About sizes
We display sizes in both metric and imperial measurements
to help customers understand just what size a print
is. Sizes are approximate, and can vary very slightly
from image to image. We recommend frame or matt purchases
are made only after the print is delivered and exact
sizes can be established.
The sizes quoted in the galleries are those we recommend,
but if you would like a particular open edition photograph
printed in a different size please contact us and we
will do our best to help. Be aware that some sizes may
not be possible.

About
limited editions
The majority of prints on sale in these galleries are
open editions, which means there is no limit on the
number that can be made available. Other prints are
in limited editions, in which case only a set number
will ever be made in that format. Limited edition prints
are numbered, e.g. 15/50, to show the total number that
will be made and the number of that particular print.

About
postage and packaging
Prints larger than 11in will be dispatched in thick
industrial-strength postal tubes. For this purpose
they are wrapped in archival acid-free tissue paper
and rolled to fit in the tube. We believe this provides
the best protection for transit.
Smaller prints will be sent in a rigid cardboard presentation
box, again wrapped in archival acid-free tissue.
About shipping
We ship to most countries and offer a signed-off service
with insurance where avaliable. Shipping charges depend
on the size of the image and its destination - but
charges will always be shown before the transaction
is completed.
Service turnaround times
All prints sold through these galleries are made with
extreme care and attention to detail. We can work
quickly, but our priorities are quality and the long
life of the print. Only a small selection of the most
popular prints is kept in stock, and all others are
made to order by the photographer or our laboratory.
For this reason we estimate a service time of approximately
5 days. If you need a print more quickly please contact
us before ordering to ensure this will be possible.
At best we can make prints by return of payment, but
Damien is often out of the country.

About
payments
We can accept payment by credit card or debit card
via PayPal, or by personal cheque through the post
(made payable to Catrina Demolder). In all cases payments
will need to be fully processed before items are dispatched.
About returns
If prints arrive damaged or in a condition below the
expected standard we will be happy to supply either
a refund or a replacement. All damaged goods need
to be returned. Please contact us as soon as you can.
